Winter Hills Fire Southeast of Pagosa Springs 75% Contained

WINTER HILLS FIRE SOUTHEAST OF PAGOSA SPRINGS 75% CONTAINED

PAGOSA SPRINGS, Colo. — Ground crews report 75% containment today of the Winter Hills Fire at 4.1 acres. The small wildfire was reported yesterday morning as the result of a lightning strike about seven miles southeast of Pagosa Springs on National Forest lands.  Firefighters report the area has cloud cover this afternoon and is experiencing rain.
