Join the Colorado State Forest Service, Firewise of Southwest Colorado, Mountain Studies Institute, San Juan Headwaters Forest Health Partnership, The Town of Pagosa Springs, and the USFS San Juan National forest for a tour of the work done and a BBQ on Reservoir Hill, Saturday May 7 from 11:00 to 2:00. This event will include a tour of the work, discussions of forest health conditions and the need for thinning work, and FREE FOOD. Smokey the Bear will stop by from 12:00 to 2:00pm and kids can check out fire trucks and equipment.
